General Administration of Customs: Export Data of Magnesium Products in June 2022

The total amount of magnesium metal exports in June 2022 was 45635.965 tons, an increase of 2.35 from the previous month (total exports in May 2022 were 44587.325 tons) and an increase of 23.12 from last year (total exports in June 2021 were 37067.495 tons).

The export of unwrought magnesium (precision> 99.8 per cent) in June 2022 was 25285.749 tonnes, up 8.12 per cent from the previous month (23386.472 tonnes in May 2022) and 10.25 per cent from last year (22934.831 tonnes in June 2021).

The export of other unwrought magnesium was 12275.963 tons in June 2022, down 6.12 percent from the previous month (13076.409 tons in May 2022) and 76.70 percent higher than last year (6947.294 tons in June 2021).

The quantity of magnesium waste and scrap was 853.000 tons in June 2022, up 38.47 percent from the previous month (616.026 tons in May 2022) and 143.63 percent from last year (350.126 tons in June 2021).

The export volume of magnesium powder in June 2022 was 5686.686 tons, down 7.68 percent from the previous month (6160.069 tons in May 2022) and 7.89 percent from last year (6173.840 tons in June 2021).

The export volume of forged magnesium in June 2022 was 760.904 tons, up 33.20 percent from the previous month (571.241 tons in May 2022) and 434.11 percent from last year (142.463 tons in June 2021).

The export volume of magnesium products in June 2022 was 773.663 tons, down 0.44 percent from the previous month (777.108 tons in May 2022) and 49.08 percent higher than last year (518.941 tons in June 2021).
